Kain O'keeffe

Kain O’Keeffe was born in Sydney in 1987, and at the age of just 14, landed his first big role in the feature film Swimming Upstream, with Geoffrey Rush and Judy Davis.

On Television, Kain appeared as a regular on the ABC drama FireFlies, Blue Water High 3 and The Lost Treasure Of Fiji for Channel 10.

Kain has also featured on All Saints, McLeods Daughters, Out of The Blue, Packed to the Rafters, Underbelly: The Golden Mile, Neighbours and starred as the severely autistic Brendan on Home and Away.

 

Kain most recently featured as “Dave” in the Australian/Chinese Co-production of 33 Postcards, a feature film starring Guy Pearce, Claudia Karven and Lincoln Lewis.

In 2011 Kain landed the opportunity of a lifetime to study intensively with Leonardo Di Caprio’s acting coach Larry Moss, working with the likes of Noni Hazelhurst, Kat Stewart, Tom Long, Ditch Davey and Jolene Anderson. 2012 marks new beginnings for Kain at Point Break Drama, translating his unique experiences thus far of the film and TV Industry to the classroom.

Point Break Drama welcomes the very talented Kain O’keeffe. Kain will teach Screen Acting with Matt Charleston to  Teens in term 1, 2012.
