will gain a greater insight into the craft of
drama culminating in a performance in front of
family and friends.*
Youth Drama students are taught basic Stanislavski

build on. Point
Break Drama's goal is to give students acting
skills, that can be used to better oneself in
all aspects of life. These skills will last a
life-time.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID ABOUT THIS COURSE:
“As a young actor, this course has provided me with exactly what I need, good teachers who are there both to help you develop your skills and to just show you a good time, and other actors who in turn have also helped me learn how to develop my own skills….. I did try other acting schools first but no others could offer the diversity, fun, experience, teachers, talent or, of course, the end of term performance….If you have a budding young actor who can not stop performing, singing or are just plainly to energetic, Point Break Drama will channel these talents and energy into an incredible acting program. I am not going to stop until the age limit makes me leave.”

Youth
Acting for Camera (11yrs -17yrs) - Exp. required ... $220**
This course will develop
acting, improvisation and audition techniques
for the camera, whilst giving youth a grounding
in basic acting techniques. Teens will be taught
a step by step audition process and how to conduct
themselves professionally at castings. With the
continual development and practice of these skills,
youth will approach the casting process with greater
confidence and flexibility. They will be given
a series of mock auditions for commercial and
television and asked to take personal responsibility
for their work. Improvisation techniques will
be expanded to give students the confidence and
knowledge to respond to any request from a casting
director or director. Script work will also be
visited. *
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID ABOUT THIS COURSE:
“Throughout this course, I've learnt so much! I used to be quite camera shy until I joined. I feel a lot more confident in front of the camera and my skills have really improved! …This course is great for those who don't feel that confident in front of the camera and want to heighten their level of confidence, those who want to exceed in their acting skills in front of the camera, and for those who just want to let their hair down after school and have some crazy fun! This is definitely a course I'd recommend to anyone for any reason!”
