Leigh Pickford / Marianne Jade Casting Masterclass

Point Break Drama Acting School is excited to be hosting two of Australia’s biggest and most well respected casting directors, LEIGH PICKFORD & MARIANNE JADE from Maura Fay Casting Consultants for two exclusive workshops.

The workshops will be run over two Saturdays only, on FEBRUARY 25^th(Youth 10-17yrs) and MARCH 3RD(adults).

THE CASTING DIRECTORS

Leigh Pickford & Marianne Jade are prolific casting directors from the Maura Fay group, one of Australia’s Leading Casting Agents.

Leigh & Marianne have cast some of Australia’s top talent in television and film projects from all over the world. These workshops will be a unique opportunity to meet Leigh or Marianne and learn from One of Australia’s best Casting agents.

THE WORKSHOP

This comprehensive one day Masterclass with Leigh Pickford or Marianne Jade will take place in several parts. The first is a lecture, question and answer period about the casting process. Participants will then get the unique opportunity to perform a prepared scene for the casting director.

Each participant will audition for Marianne or Leigh individually, entering the audition room and presenting the scene to them. Participants will receive personal one to one feedback on their work and audition technique. The process will be repeated in the afternoon with a second scene. Once again feedback, comments and advice will be offered to improve each person’s audition technique.  Places are strictly limited to 20 per day.
